We are going to study the profile transformations of four women: Abby, Sharelle, Lisa and Karen. Section by section, you will see their “problem” profiles side by side with a corrected profile.
The last section shows you how customers just like you transformed their profiles or wrote new ones from scratch as they jumped into the pool of online dating!
Our four women have different personalities yet each of them made very common mistakes in their profiles. We’ve broken the transformations down by section so you can compare and contrast what was changed.
First, let’s meet our four ladies.
Abby
Abby is a young single mother who has never been married. She is just starting to date after spending several years focused only on her son. She definitely wants to get married and have more children. Her problem? The profile she put up is attracting scammers because she comes across as naive and needy by talking so much about her son and wanting a man in her life.
Sharelle
Sharelle is in her early 30’s, a bit of a free spirit and loves living in the city. She hasn’t been married before and has no children. She has been burned by guys only wanting sex. Her profile comes across as demanding and slightly bitter.
Lisa
Lisa is in her early 50’s and is an earthy hippy-chick. She had a common-law husband for 15 years who recently passed away. She loves being in love and is seeking to find another kindred soul. The problem with what she wrote is that she rambles a lot. And while her ability to creatively weave a story about her ideal relationship is intriguing, it leaves most who read it scratching their heads about whether they can match up to all of the specifics she describes.
Karen
Karen is a 42 year old single mom. She hasn’t dated much at all in the seven years since her divorce. She is quite gun-shy about the whole thing. Her problem? Her profile reeks of insecurity!
